What Is Rotary?

Rotary International is a global network of service-focused business and professional leaders organized into local clubs that work together to provide humanitarian service and promote goodwill and peace. Founded in 1905 by Paul P. Harris, Rotary supports members' efforts to take action on complex challenges like disease, poverty, illiteracy, and environmental issues, with a strong emphasis on international understanding and high ethical standards in all vocations.

The Rotary Club of Clifton Springs-Phelps has been part of this worldwide movement since June 22, 1933 — making us one of the longest-running civic organizations in Ontario County.
